"Located in the West Hollywood area, the hotel is conveniently located near the exit of Highway 101. A street away is the Avenue of Stars. Go to Universal Studios and take the subway as long as one stop. I have a suite and it is very spacious. There is absolutely no problem with living in 4 people. The hotel's parking lot is $13 (including 15$ after tax). The suite has an open kitchen with full kitchenware and cutlery, breakfast is simple without meat, cookies and cold drinks are available 24/7, laundry is free, and free ice cream is available in the afternoon. The disadvantage is that there is no elevator, and finally the baggage that the hotel's waiter moved, gave a tip. This is the longest stay in the hotel. There are a lot of free projects. There are magic shows on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for breakfast. Children like it very much."

The room is clean and big. Note that there are no slippers in American hotels. Bring your own.

"Went to a concert at the Banc Of California stadium. The hotel was perfect for the event. It’s a safe 10-15 min walking distance from the venue and there are plenty of those scorers if you need to get there faster. Instead about worrying about parking and leaving the stadium. My family leisurely walked over before the show, got back to the room after in 10 mins and was able to relax in a very clean, safe, and friendly hotel. Extremely satisfied and will be back if they are other events at the stadium we would like to attend."

"The room was very nice, well decorated in typical American style. There is a big shopping mall next to it with several Chinese restaurants, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. However, the valet parking was very bad. I waited at the door for more than 20 minutes before the car came. People who arrived later than me got their cars very quickly. The valet explained that he remembered the wrong number, so no one came to my car."

"Cool concept hotel. Retro vibe of the hotel that attracts people travel for pleasure and business travelers.
The location is great, and it is near DTLA, and you can walk to major places in downtown LA.
The retro vibe is cool with the lobby lounge that you can hang out, but the room furniture's and bed felt very old and squeaks, and the mattress was sunken. I understand the design elements should look like ”collected” pieces over the years, but they look cheap and not properly made. The bed frame was way bigger than the bed, and It was on its way, so I got a number of bruises. So if you are staying here, be careful. Hotel is affordable compared to other hotels. The entire hotel is generally dark, I had a hard time putting makeup on to trying to find the right light source. It would ve great if the room had the brighter lights. The hotel was quiet, considering it is located downtown."

YYC008Here's why we gave the experience 3 stars;
First of all, when we booked the hotel, neither Trip.com nor The Aster, Los Angeles, mentioned anything about the rooftop being closed on the dates we booked. On May 13 and May 14, we stayed in room 3 0 6. The hotel pictures showed and bragged about having a rooftop and plenty of pics of people there, and nowhere was revealed anywhere on their website or Trip.com that would not be available on those dates. When we reached out to Trip.com, they pretty much said that the rooftop amenities weren't listed as part of our package. Really Trip.com? You have to list the rooftop as the amenity... Got it. That was so lame a response. Everyone knows people book due to the pictures, and this was a seriously lame response from the Trip.com customer support personnel. We decided to save our opinion for this review.
The Aster had nice people, but it's hard to believe the availability missing on their website is a detail they would miss. Their hotel has impeccable detail and design. One can only surmise they conveniently left out the information because people would obviously not book there and go somewhere else. I told the front receptionist this as we were checking in. She mentioned, well, it said it on *******. But we didn't book through *******, we booked through Trip.com. And those specific details were not evident. After July 1st the Government is getting stricter on transparency with hotels having to mention things so we missed this window, but we're happy to hold hotels like The Aster accountable:-)
Also, on Wednesday, we checked out, and they had a fire alarm drill test that lasted about 10 minutes. They forgot to mention another minor ”inconvenience” when we booked on their website. It was at 10 am. It wasn't so bad, but to state the obvious, they left out the ability for customers to decide by not making that information transparent during the booking process. It's not like the fire department or tech people didn't schedule that in advance.
1. If you book through Trip.com, please make sure you specify, call their customer support, and get it in writing. The clickbait and pictures seem shady and sketchy and reflect a lack of credibility in the process.
2. Trip.com asked which room we wanted to be in. When we picked the room, we picked the city-view balcony. But we got put in the poolside view instead. It wasn't bad, but that was missing in the booking details that Trip.com sent to The Aster. My fiance ended up being okay with the poolside view, but it should have been in the booking details via Trip.com. So please, please make sure you watch this if you book through them and call the hotel in advance.
Lastly, the decor, valet, and, in general, the service people were very nice and thoughtful. We would give them 5 stars.

Only complaint would be the ****** is Chinese, so I had no idea how to play any of their games. Probably a good thing! Saved me money!
Also, we had a two room suite, however, the rooms only had one television in one of the bedrooms. I would recommend having a tv in each room.

I had a smooth experience overall at the Sheraton Hotel. Check-in and service were efficient, and the facilities were well-maintained. However, I noticed some comments mentioning large crowds at certain times. It seems this is due to the shuttle service dropping off a batch of guests simultaneously, which is understandable. Despite this, the staff managed the flow effectively, and it didn’t significantly impact the overall experience. A great stay overall!
The only I can complaint is limit restaurant variety

JJohnny B GoodThis hotel is not convenient from the airport. There is no shuttle bus from the airport. We saw a fake review that said there is a shuttle bus. it's so bad! Ctrip should not allow such a review!! When we realised that there is no shuttle bus from the airport, we called an Uber from the airport to go to the hotel. Each way the Uber cost 46 dollars (without tip). Even though the hotel is not very far from the airport. We don't know why it's so expensive. So we paid 100 dollars just to from and to the airport. We are not happy about it :(
So don't stay at this hotel if you are going from the airport. Don't make the same mistake we did and waste your money.

AAnonymous UserI received the warmest welcome from the front desk folks when I arrived. It was 1 a.m. due to a flight delay, and they were energetic and lovely. The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing. It took less than 10 minutes to walk to Ovation in the heart of the action, and I felt safe walking to and from the hotel early in the morning and after dark (10 p.m.) because the area is so active. The lobby and my room were very clean. There are several vending machines with lots of options, but none accepted cards, so be sure to have some cash (which I never have). The laminate wood flooring in my room was in desperate need of replacement, but the bed, furniture, and bathroom were spotless. The hallway leading to the rooms was also in need of TLC, and it was noisy at all hours (as was my room). The hotel was fine for my short stay. I am a very seasoned traveler and did my research so I knew what to expect. I definitely got what I paid for. However, it did feel a bit sketchy at times. I heard questionable noises coming from some of the rooms and ran into a few unsavory individuals. I wouldn't recommend it for other solo travelers, particularly those who identify as female. I practiced all my solo travel safety techniques during this stay, so just be prepared if you do stay there.

Ddown to earthDid a last minute booking. Well worth the value. Near the LAX airport and there is a free shuttle to/fro airport - there is no need to reserve. Just go to the correct berth and wait for it. The room is well appointed and great for a good night sleep before flying out again the next morning. Breakfast was ok and much appreciated.
