The room is clean
The staff is really helpful.
But it's hard to wait for the laundry because many people using it.
And it takes some minutes to go back to the louder streets.
But it's fine if you get used to it and know the directions.
For transport, this hotel is closer to two different subways. It should be easy to travel to places like arashiyama or somewhere further.
The price is also really affordable, good price for center of kyoto.

The room is compact, as expected for a typical Japanese hotel, but it’s well-equipped with thoughtful features like a washing machine, microwave, and bathtub. Essentials such as a hairdryer, electric kettle, air purifier/humidifier, air-conditioning, and basic toiletries are all provided. In the lobby, you can help yourself to additional amenities like combs, toothbrushes, razors, cotton buds, and body sponges.
Housekeeping changes towels and clears trash daily, provided you place the designated magnet outside your door. Complimentary coffee, tea, and water are available at the lobby’s self-service corner. From 3–8 PM, there’s a free snack bar and a sake corner. At check-in, we received 12 coin tokens (for three people over five nights), which can be exchanged for sake—non-alcoholic options are available too.
The only downside is a slightly damp, musty smell in the room.
Location-wise, it’s excellent—just a short walk from the train station and close to convenience stores. Note that there’s no complimentary breakfast buffet

Comfortable stay with an impressive terrace on roof top where you can chill out with the view of Kyoto while soaking your feet, so comfy! Bar time in the evening at the terrace. Small hot bath area yet peaceful ambience.
Small room but well equipped. They suggest to store the luggage under the bed but personally found that it isn't practical for big luggage. Otherwise the mattress is comfortable and the provided amenities are all fine for the stay.
Good location even department stores, shops, restaurants, public transportation, attractions, Gion and etc are in walking distance but still silent enough and I had a good stay here. Also taxi stop is just right in front of the hotel entrance.
Luggage can be store after check out but please check with the time for picking up with the staff.

The hotel looks brand new, super cleaned and well organized.
Breakfast is very good, there is a small but well equipped gym in the basement, and a laundry room.
One special mention to the lobby staff, who is amazingly kind and helpful.
Opposite side of the entrance there is a Family Mart, and a street with local eateries pretty interesting.
Daimaru Dept,Store is at 12 minutes walking.
Love this hotel!

Hotel location is good but direction instruction to hotel isn't clear. We walked & dragged our baggage thru stairway from train station.
1. Location convenient. To popular tourist IG places need to walk 20mins
2. Food available nearby & mall.
3. Room enough tk sleep with small space to leave your baggage standing.
4. Very basic room.
Comfy to sleep, not too noisy. Thank you.

Let me talk about the size of the room first. Compared with the average Japanese business traveler, this room can be described as super comfortable. There is no sense of oppression. The room facilities are all well equipped, and there should be some, because we go in winter, and there is also a big terrace. Warm stickers are provided, but we just happened to have prepared ourselves so we didn’t take the position. It was in the middle of the Shijo and Wujo stations. If you are pulling luggage, you should pay attention to which exit has an elevator, or you will have to go up the stairs yourself.

The landlord’s Chinese communication barrier-free environment: two floors, two bathrooms and one bathroom. The layout is very careful and the place is large. The tatami bed, kitchen and toilet facilities are complete, including hand sanitizer, seasonings, detergent, oven, Induction cooker, rice cooker. Transportation: The location is not very convenient. I only found it after walking through several alleys. I was still helped by a Japanese uncle. The positioning was not accurate enough. It is recommended that the host can draw a picture for the guests to make it more convenient. The family is very satisfied, the price is good, and the host also gave red wine!

We were astonished by how close the hotel towards the Kawaramachi, Gion and subway areas, making it super convenient to visit all foodie and sight seeing places. It looks very clean, the staff are super friendly and came all the way to assist us sending back our shopping to Tokyo. If you would make Kyoto your base to see the neighbourhood like Nara, Uji etc, highly recommended this hotel location

This location is perfect I would say, walking distance away from the main shijo street. There's a bus stop outside hotel whereby you can go anywhere with it . Family Mart is few steps away.
Cleanliness is on point other than the room is small. But generally all Japan room is small unless u pay more for it.

GGuest UserBoth Hotel and the rooms are exceptionally clean and are a nice mixture of Japanese and western aesthetic. Staff was exceptionally friendly and professional - usually someone around that speaks English.
5 minute walk to Gojo Station (Karasuma Line) or 20 minute walk straight to Kyoto station. Early luggage drop off as well later pickup was possible which makes Kyoto itineraries potentially longer than actual check-in/out times.
Free drinking water (spiced up with mint and lemon) as well as affordable full breakfast (1350¥) if it needs to be quick and you have no time to find something else first and order. Several konbini and quick diners around.

- Very good location, easy to connect to train and bus (but a lot of bar in this location)
- nice room, but small (able to live, but no space left when you expand your baggages for 2 people.
Cons
- Air Con control is centralized and temperature might not fitted for everyone (in my case, I got heater opened and need to close the AC to avoid that too warm air)

EEkaterinaProsvirninaThe hotel is nice. Contactless check-in. But unfortunately it turned out to be very inconvenient inside. It is declared as a family hotel: there is a third place for a child, a kitchen, but there are some buts... there is nowhere for the family to sit and eat together. In the room there is 1 small table in the corner, which cannot be moved, and one chair. There is also a severe shortage of sockets. There is nowhere to charge phones and cameras. You need to turn off the kettle, refrigerator and microwave. Beautiful, clean, but a little inconvenient...
